NOTICE TO OWNERS AND KEEPERS OF DOGS

DOG LICENSES ARE DUE AND PAYABLE APRIL 2023

Licenses may be obtained after April 15, 2023 at the office of the Town Clerk, Monday - Friday between 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Fee:  $8.00 male or female.  Proof of Rabies Vaccination is required. Licenses may also be obtained by mail; address the Town Clerk, Town of West Greenwich, 280 Victory Highway, West Greenwich, RI 02817.  Please enclose $8.00 plus 60 cents postage for each dog.  The following information is required:  name and address of owner, phone no., sex of dog, breed, color and name. Proof of Rabies Vaccination is required and will be returned to you with the license

For animals (dogs, cats and ferrets) needing rabies vaccination, the Town of West Greenwich is holding a rabies clinic, which will be held on April 16, 2023 at the Coventry Annex located Route 117, Coventry, RI from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  The cost is $10.00 per animal, cash only.  Written proof of previous rabies vaccination must be presented in order to receive a 3-year vaccination, otherwise a 1-year vaccination will be given.  Residents may also obtain 2023 dog license at the same time for a fee of $8.00.  Animals must be on a leash or in a cage.
