VIN Inspection

Vehicle identification checks (VIN) are performed by the West Greenwich Police Department and will be conducted Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 3pm to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 12pm. Please be ready with your documents when you arrive and see the dispatcher to let them know you are here for a VIN check. There is a $10.00 fee per vehicle.

You do not need to be a West Greenwich Town resident to have this service done

What do I need to bring with me?

  1. The vehicle title
  2. Bill of sale
  3. Ten ($10.00) cash, exact change please.
  4. The vehicle. No Exceptions!
