Plat Maps & GIS

  • Please see the maps in the vault in the town clerk's office for the most up-to-date information.
  • Visit the AxisGIS website to access online maps.   Click on the blue tab that says TAX MAPS to access the individual plat maps. The link can take some time to load, so please be patient.
  • Disclaimer: Our GIS is still a work in progress. Please confirm information, including zoning, with Town Hall.

2025 Tax Rates

  • Residential Property: $16 per thousand less 20% homestead exemption = $12.80
  • Vacant Residential Land: $17 per thousand
  • Tangible Property: $34.80 per thousand with $50,000 state exemption
  • Commercial Property: $23.75 per thousand

Appeals

Real estate appeals will be accepted beginning August 31st. Taxpayers have 90 days from the first quarter payment date to file their appeal form.  

Real Property Appeal Form for 2025. Real property appeal forms can be accepted between August 31st and November 29th.

Exemptions

The Town of West Greenwich offers tax credits for the following exemptions:

  • Blind: $300
  • Disabled: $100
  • Veteran: $100
  • Gold Star Parent: $75
  • POW: $100
  • Totally disabled service connected: $150
  • Disabled Veteran in adapted housing: $10,000 assessment credit
